Ken Lanci Reponse to Dolan Endorsements

The Machine continues to amaze me. It’s obvious the Republicans and Democrats are hedging their bets, feeling the heat of a viable Independent candidate. It has uncharacteristically brought them together in an attempt to keep the same power brokers in charge.

The Democrats who have come out to endorse Republican Matt Dolan: Marty Zanotti, Jose Feliciano and Steve Kaufman, really don’t represent progress and reform as they would like you to believe.

Former Parma Heights Mayor Marty Zanotti went on gambling trips with county corruption figure J. Kevin Kelley. Kelley also contributed to Zanotti’s campaign fund.

Jose Feliciano recently led the charge to cost taxpayers an additional $500k a year by supporting countywide bilingual ballots. Thousands of dollars could have been saved by doing this on a precinct by precinct basis.

This cast of characters does not represent the type of reform voters are demanding. This is just politics as usual. 

It reminds me of an old adage. “If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck and walks like a duck, it's a duck.”  These political smoke screens further energize me to bring REAL change to Cuyahoga County.

This again shows the need for a truly Independent leader, who is not beholden to the parties, or donors or PACs, who will finally serve on behalf of ALL the people for the greater good.  We will once again be known as the best location in the nation!
